Father / Son Adventure Weekend

Welcome to our 6th Father / Son weekend. Early in the Month of April YMCA Camp Hayo-Went-Ha invites fathers and their sons to embark on a three-day journey through which they can strengthen their bond. The frame work of the weekend will focus on leadership and how the fathers can best support their son as they grow as individuals. We will engage in many fun activities to offer a healthy balance of fun and challenge. Get excited to take a Saturday morning dip in Torch Lake. Then a variety of field games offers competition and fast pace activity. The excitement will grow throughout the weekend as we progress through various challenges including testing our comfort zones with low ropes teambuilding and then progressing to high ropes challenges. To put our leadership skills to the test we will participate in an offsite excursion. The offsite trip will be weather dependent. Our trip may consist of a Canoe trip down the Jordan river or snowshoeing or hike on the sleeping bear dunes.

All age ranges between father/son groups are invited. Please bring payment and risk wavers for all participants to check in.
