Welcome to Arbutus Lake!

Located 10 miles southeast of Traverse City, Michigan, our buildings and grounds are the perfect mix of blending our historic past with start-of-the-art facilities.

T. Grace Macdonald Lodge

T. Grace Macdonald Lodge is a fully winterized facility built and dedicated in 2004. Affectionately known as TGMcD, the beautiful building features plenty of space for groups to meet, dine, and sleep.

Trailside Lodge

Built in the early 1900's, Trailside Lodge is the perfect place to enjoy century old traditions such as Hayo-Went-Ha campfires and skit nights.

Cabins

Newly rebuilt cabins lines the shores and fill the woods of beautiful Arbutus lake. Each cabin can sleep 10-12 people.

Challenge Course

Challenge opportunities at Arbutus Lake include zip lining, rock climbing, as well as conquering the high ropes course. Low ropes team building challenges are also available.
