Wrangler Program
Finished 7th and 8th grade / 2 week session
The Wrangler program is a more advanced horse-riding cabin DESIGNED FOR CAMPERS WHO LOVE HORSES! Whether you've ridden before at AHWH or somewhere else, you will become even more skilled in horsemanship, horse safety, reigning, trotting, saddling your horse and trail riding techniques. After being assigned your own horse, each camper will assist with feeding and caring for that horse. The highlight of this program is an overnight trip with the horses to the nearby Schecks Horse Camp Site (state campground) along the Boardman River with trail rides on sections of the Michigan Shore-To-Shore trail.
