Do you LOVE horses?  

Then the equestrian program is designed for YOU!  Equestrians will participate in daily ground lessons that will encompass horse care, riding techniques and safety.  They will receive riding lessons from our experienced staff and go on local trail rides.  The program will be a progressive one, enabling campers to learn basic to more advanced skills as the weeks go on, culminating in an overnight trail ride and camping trip at Schecks Horse Camp Site (state campground) along the Boardman River.

Campers do not necessarily have to have previous experience with horse riding as each camper will have lessons scheduled to suit their individual riding abilities.
