Finished 6th grade / 2 or 4 week sessions
A GREAT TIME IS HAD BY ALL as the two-week Bushwhackers learn canoeing techniques on beautiful Arbutus Lake before venturing on a three-day canoe trip on the AuSable River (35 miles east).  These campers also enjoy a blend of on-site activities and time preparing for their canoe trip.  Four-week Bushwhackers head to the Upper Peninsula for a 5-day backcountry-hiking trip at the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The trip will participate in short day hikes and sightseeing in the area that consists of beautiful shore rock formations and waterfalls.  There will be time before each trip to familiarize campers with the camping equipment and individual responsibility to the group.
