Develop Outdoors Camping Skills
Fun is the focus for these first-time Hayo-Went-Ha campers. Woodsmen enjoy the many in-camp activities that we offer. They are introduced to camp craft skills used in the outdoors. An overnight campout in the camp's caboose followed by a day trip canoeing on the Jordan River are planned for these campers.
Our staff that interacts with the Woodsmen are specially selected for their proven ability to work very well with younger boys. Parents tell us they love the letters they get from our Woodsmen campers, and our regular web photo updateskeep everyone in the family informed of the latest fun-filled action in the Woodsmen Program.
Our staff focus on fun, safety and creating a solid cabin group in the cabin. The Woodsmen campers get to enjoy all that camp has to offer.
