Annual Womens Fall Getaway - a weekend of fun and relaxation.

Treat yourself to a weekend at YMCA Camp Arbutus Hayo-Went-Ha which is located on Arbutus Lake, seven miles south east of Traverse City. You will stay in our beautiful new T. Grace Macdonald Lodge which provides a cozy stone fireplace for gatherings, porches to enjoy views of the lake or a quiet place to read, a spacious dining area and dormitory style accommodations. Whether you are looking for a place to relax, are eager to conquer the 36 foot high challenge course or a little of both we have created the perfect getaway for you!

Getting Active

  • Yoga classes
  • Enjoy the fall foliage on nature trails
  • Bring your bike to take advantage of the VASA Trail located close by
  • Challenge yourself at the climbing tower or on the high ropes course!
  • Canoeing/Kayaking on beautiful Arbutus Lake

Relaxation

  • Opportunities to unwind with a massage (additional fee)
  • Evening campfires on the lake shore
  • All activities are optional, so create your own schedule or find a quiet place for solitude.

Stimulating Your Palate

  • Experience an evening of wine and cheese tasting from the Grand Traverse Area wineries Friday as you arrive.
  • Enjoy delicious and nutritious meals starting with dinner on Friday night through Sunday lunch before afternoon departure.

A Creative Outlet

  • Saturday evening will provide opportunities to try your hand at making jewelry or scrapbooking with supplies and instructors.

Fees: $150.00 per person

Fees Include: lodging, meals (Fri dinner — Sun lunch), and activities

Must be 18 or older to participate.

Check in will be between 5 - 6pm Friday, followed by a wine and chesse welcome reception and dinner will be served at 6:30pm.
