The YMCA recognizes the value of strengthening the family bond. Come as a family and experience some of the many wonders and fun that Family Camp can provide. Family Camp will offer programs that incorporate fun, adventure and a relaxed atmosphere — for a very economical cost.

2012 Summer Family Camp Dates: Sunday August 12 to Saturday August 18, 2012
 
 
Summer Family Camp has been a tradition at Hayo-Went-Ha on Torch Lake for over 30 years.

Your Summer Family Camp package provides you with the following:
  • A Cozy Cabin in a woodsy atmosphere.
  • Activities which are planned throughout the day and evening for any or all to take part.
  • All meals and snacks.
  • A “Kids Club” program giving the younger kids special attention. “Quality Staff” are available to make your camping experience an enjoyable one.
  • All food, lodging, activities and programs are included in our rates.

 

Accommodations: Your family will enjoy the “Summer Camp” experience living in rustic cabins with bathroom facilities nearby.

Dining: Sit back, take a break from the kitchen and let our expert kitchen staff do the cooking for you. Wholesome and delicious meals, served in a family-style setting with a salad bar available at lunch and dinner allows for a truly pleasurable dining experience. If you have special dietary concerns please notify us in advance.

Recreation Areas and Adventure Courses: Our facilities are at your fingertips with various recreational and learning areas available. This includes an athletic field, archery range, arts & crafts center and a fully supervised waterfront including sail boats, canoes and kayaks. Our comprehensive adventure courses include a high ropes course, and a climbing tower. These activities, facilitated by our exceptional staff, will provide an extraordinary experience for you and your family.
